An Comunn Gaidhealach - Website
An Comunn Gàidhealach, a voluntary membership organisation, with charitable status, encourages the teaching, learning and use of the Gaelic language. It also promotes the study and cultivation of Gaelic literature, history, music and art by organizing the festival known as the Royal National Mod. Big Red was selected to design and build a dual language, content managed, e-commerce website to build on the considerable positive momentum in the preservation and promotion of Gaelic culture.
Dollboutique - Website
Doll Boutique is a young fashion retailer with a seriously cool reputation in Glasgow's West End. When they asked us to develop a new web site, we created an energised, edgy style, allied with a Sage-powered Shopping Cart system. A CMS backend allows the client to update stock and introduce new items in real time - and with training on how to make day-to-day site changes, total control of the site by Doll Boutique staff is possible. The site has been such a success, the company has decided to close down the retail outlet and concentrate solely on online sales using social media as their main marketing channel. www.dollboutique.co.uk
Project Ability - Website and brand style
Project Ability are a respected arts access organisation. Prior to their move to Trongate 103 - a dynamic new arts hub in Glasgow's creative quarter in the Merchant city - we developed a new style for their publications and website. The site had to accommodate three different audiences - young children, people with mental health issues and disabled participants. The result is a site following best practice for access and usability standards. project-ability.co.uk
Superglass - ‘Superdad’ campaign
Following a two way pitch, Superglass and Scottish and Southern Energy were delighted with our ‘SuperDad' theme for their ‘3 for 2' loft insulation campaign. The campaign had real empathy with the end user, allowed for direct brand building with the end user (unique to Superglass) and had considerably more impact than a ‘green' approach would ever have had - regardless of creative approach.
It's being rolled out (pun intended) across DIY merchants nationwide, using a combination of on and offline vehicles including banners, posters, literature and point of sale displays.
Invitrogen - Display Stands
Invitrogen, the life sciences giant based in Inchinnan use Big Red as an extension of their own studio in the U.S. If they have a local, time-critical requirement, we are delighted to assist them on any aspect of their marketing needs. This particular project was the requirement for 4 single panel display stands, designed and produced within 3 working days.
